REI is a work training program in which we assist people with disabilities to develop and improve basic work habits and skills. We do this by sub-contracting with local businesses to provide as much paid work as possible so that our work training is conducted in as realistic a work environment as possible. We assist each individual to identify and work toward specific goals with the aim of improving their employment options. The programs include Work Services, an extended work training and sub-contracted base program, Work Adjustment, a time-limited (average 3 months) work training program, Situational Assessment, a time-limited assessment conducted to answer work-oriented and address work issues, Supported Employment, a specialized job development and placement service which includes extended follow-up along with job coaching, and Direct Placement, a employment preparation, job development and placement program.

At Growth Opportunities we serve people over the age of eighteen with severe developmental disabilities, and we offer special services to seniors and medically fragile persons. Our consumers may need supervision and assistance with many of life's daily activities. Along with this supervision we offer them training and advocacy with the aim of maximizing their work skills, their opportunities for community access and participation, and their general quality of life.
