They are bilingual in English and Spanish are are here at our central office Monday and Wednesday from 11-2pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 2-5pm. March 19th through April 19th, 2010. Please stop in to meet with the US Census staff or call 866.872.6868 for telephone assistance.

| California Human Development’s ‘Annual Community Recognition Event’ will be held on May 15th, 2010 at the Lexington Hotel in Stockton, California. This year’s theme is ‘Celebrating the Success of Youth’ and will feature an exciting keynote speaker: Jose Hernandez, a former migrant farmworker turned NASA astronaut! Dinner, music, awards presentations, a raffle, live and silent auction, and free wine pouring from notable area wineries will all take place at the event! You will not want to miss it!

We want your artwork and pictures! CHD Invites both amateur and experienced artists and photographers to submit their drawings, paintings, and photographs for CHD’s first annual First Annual Art and Photo Contest. There are two categories in which to submit entries:

The top two winning photographs from each category will be announced at the Annual Event and the prints auctioned off to support CHD’s mission. The photos will be highlighted on this web site and the winning photographers will be given an award.

Camp Geneva Núñez

| The camp provides an opportunity for more than 100 underprivileged children from our community to learn in nature. The camp is a six day, five night outdoor experience. It features many activities for the youth to develop their leadership skills and improve their self-esteem and confidence through arts and crafts classes, ropes courses, story telling, nature hikes, public speaking, educational classes, and team building activities. The camp also features free dental screenings and 24 hour a day health technician supervision. The children leave camp with a new belief in themselves, awareness in the natural environment in which they live, and with many new friends.

30th Annual End of Harvest Fiesta

On Saturday, November 6th, California Human Development in cooperation with Wells Fargo Bank and KRCB TV will hold the 30th annual End of Harvest Fiesta. The fiesta will be held at the Wells Fargo Performing Arts Center at 50 Mark West Springs Rd. in Santa Rosa.
Admission is free and will feature a visit from the Mexican Consulate, information booths on health and community services, food vendors, activities for the family, traditional music and a farmworker of the year presentation.
Festival hours are 10am – 5pm
