The California Human Development (CHD) Board of Directors consists of up to eighteen voluntary members and represents a broad cross section of the public, the low-income, including low income farmworkers, and private industry including representation from business, law enforcement, education and other major interest groups in the communities and counties served by the corporation as set forth in our bylaws. The CHD Board is a Tri-partite Board as required by the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) legislation and composed of at least one third representatives of low income communities, and up to one third each public and private representatives. The public representatives must be nominated by an elected official.
